THANK YOU to all the residents who attended the RA’s Annual General Meeting yesterday.
The minutes of the meeting are now available HERE
Co-Chairs Christine Belton-Brown and Rupert Keppel-Palmer confirmed they will be standing down from the committee after the planned street party.
In order for YOUR Residents Association to continue – we need to elect new committee members now. A number of residents who attended indicated they would be willing to help out. Thank you.
That said – we need YOUR help now! Many hands make light work.
Without the RA – there will be no collective voice pushing RMG, Hyde and Golding to sort out –
Landscaping and grounds maintenance, issues with parking, PCNs, road safety, traffic problems in our neighbourhood, fly-tipping, anti-social behaviour, litter, abandoned vehicles, maintenance concerns, bills etc etc.
…and that’s before we consider social events like the Easter egg hunt, street parties and Christmas gettogethers.
It will be down to individual residents to sort out individual problems.
You can learn much more about the RA and how you can make a real difference with just a little of your valuable free time.
The committee agreed that an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) will be convened in mid-July where a new committee can be elected if volunteers put their names forward. Failing this, this meeting will officially dissolve the Residents Association in line with the constitution of the organisation.
This is YOUR estate, your neighbourhood. IF YOU HAVE TIME TO POST ON OUR FACEBOOK GROUP, YOU HAVE TIME TO BE PART OF OUR RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION. IT’S THAT SIMPLE!
Please step up and make this a great place to live.
