Good news…finally. After pushing Panattoni for an update around traffic controls on College Road via installation of ANPR cameras and fining of tenants violating unauthorised access by HGVs on this route – we have today received confirmation from Panattoni that installation will be undertaken this week – and commissioning by the end of next.

Hopefully within the next 40 or so days, we’ll start to see PCNs landing on Panattoni tenants’ doorsteps which will trigger a change in their behaviours especially with regards to misuse of Papyrus Way by HGVs accessing the industrial estate.

Leybourne Park Residents Association has been pushing Panattoni to implement controls for over 12 months now – following their commitment that this route would only be used by LGVs and cars.

We’re also continuing to push KCC to get improved road signs installed on Leybourne Way / Bellingham Way directing HGVs to Panattoni via this approved main route; alongside efforts to improve road safety in our community and the re-introduction of bus services to New Hythe Lane.
