The LPRA has written to the head office of Algeco around ongoing concerns regarding HGVs parking up on Papyrus Way whilst awaiting entrance into their New Hythe depot.\u00a0 Residents have informed the RA that lorries arrive overnight and idle with their engines running continuously.\u00a0 There has also been complaints of noise nuisance from these vehicles whilst they wait for the depot to open and entrance to be gained.<\/p>\n
We have noted that Papyrus Way has overnight parking for vehicles under 7.5T only – and are seeking local resolution to this ongoing issue.\u00a0 Should we need to escalate this matter further, we will be engaging with TMBC’s Environmental Health department.<\/p>\n
