A massive ‘Thank You’ to all the residents who attended Saturday’s community street party.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We were up against a number of major community events happening at the same time, which undoubtedly impacted the turnout.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
(Even the usually bustling food market at Aylesford Priory was reportedly quiet \u2013 a real shame.)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
That said, it turned out to be a lovely afternoon. The live entertainment was excellent courtesy of Taylor Clark. Chef Gary\u2019s hot dogs looked & tasted incredible \u2013 thank you to him and his family for all their hard work.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As always, it was fantastic to see our community come together and enjoy some quality time \u2013 relaxing with a drink from the Double Bubble Bar, dancing to great music, and indulging in a sundae from Mr Tee\u2019s Ice Creams.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

These events are put on through the sheer efforts of RA committee volunteers, raising funds, booking attractions and running the day, all at no cost to residents.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The present Co-Chairs will be standing down from their roles and a meeting convened in the next 2 or so weeks to see whether any other resident will step up to continue the good work.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Without a Chair – the committee and the Residents Association will be dissolved, as will future community events such as this.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
So – please, step up and get involved. After all, it’s your community.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n
