Can you spare a couple of hours per month?

We’re always keen to welcome residents onto our committee – as the work to make our community a better place to live never stops.

We all have very busy lives, both at work and spending quality time with our family – and so we’re asking for just a couple of hours of your time every month to help us help you and all the residents of Leybourne Park.

There’s lots to get involved in – so every little bit helps massively.

If YOU care about our community, if you care about your neighbourhood, and you want to make it a better place to live – then contact us today and become part of the team of volunteers that have Leybourne Park in the centre of their hearts.

It might be helping out at a fun day, or helping out at a community litter pick, posting flyers through residents’ letterboxes, co-ordinating our social media channels, approaching local businesses to seek support, writing to the council – the list is endless.

Any resident or tenant over 18 years of age can be part of the voluntary team that makes up our committee.

The largest and most successful open event hosted by the LPRA celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
Over 200 guests attended our street party celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
Family events like this are at the heart of the LPRA.

The LPRA initiated installation of additional public area bins around the estate to help in refuse management.
The LPRA work proactively with the grounds and landscaping contractors every year.
The LPRA raised funds to install pergolas on both Ingram and Abery greens.
Through fundraising - the LPRA purchased and installed a number of picnic tables and benches on both Ingram and Abery greens.
Fundraising by the LPRA resulted in the purchase of a number of novelty refuse bins. Here's our buddy Bear on Abery green.
The equipment provides a safe play environment for a number of our families.
Please use the equipment responsibly ensuring all our kids have a great place to play for years to come.
The Woodland Trust donated 30 saplings which were planted around our estate - and form part of our sustainability strategy.

The LPRA are working proactively with First Port, Hyde Housing and Golding Homes to improve the management of refuse on our estate.
The LPRA successfully lobbied KCC to amend parking restrictions on Papyrus Way allowing for overnight overflow parking for residents.
This additional street-parking provides much needed additional capacity for our neighbourhood.
We encourage all residents who own multiple vehicles to park responsibly and to make best use of this free resource.

Gallagher Group kindly donated a number of large quarry stones which have been placed on our roundabouts to protect against curb / ground damage by HGVs.
We're grateful for the immense support offered to Leybourne Park by this large local company.
Our 2023 Easter egg hunt was a smash success with record attendance.
Kids were tasked with hunting out hidden easter eggs on Ingram park.
Everyone (including the 'big kids') was a winner - especially with the sun shining down, and Soft Whippy ice cream van also in attendance.
This community event brought together residents from all over our estate.

live entertainment, great food and drink, fun for all the family, sun and enjoyment....
