Parking – where and how
Most properties on the estate have an allocated parking space. You need to confirm with your solicitors (if purchasing) or alternatively through RMG (the estate management company), Hyde Housing or Golding Homes (social landlords) as to which allocated space is linked with your property.
There are a limited number of visitor bays which are available for temporary parking only on a first come, first served basis.
Parking etiquette.
Please don’t hog a visitor’s bay indefinitely. Think of your neighbourhood please. We’re all trying to make sure we have safe and secure parking for all residents.
No space? The RA fought for overnight street parking on Papyrus Way through KCC. This is available after 6pm (and before 8am) Monday to Saturday and all day on Sundays. There are approx 20 -30 spaces available for overflow parking.
Parking enforcement RMG contracts CPM to oversee parking on our estate. Penalty Charge Notices will be issued for parking contraventions. The signage around the estate details all of these restrictions – but in brief –
- no parking on pavements
- no parking on grassed areas
- no parking on double yellow lines
- no obstructive parking
Additionally, commercial vehicles are all types are only allowed to park in their respective owner’s allocated bay. Commercial vehicles parked anywhere else on the estate including visitor bays are liable to be ticketed.
